DOMESTIC TWENTY20… A BEGINING OF AN ERA????

Domestic Twenty20 just started with 4 diffrent teams competing. Almost all national and domestic stars are involved. the match seems to have got good sponsors and a bit carbon print from the ICC WorldCup just finished at South Africa. The organisers must be aiming to cash on the World Cup fever. Whatever, the organisers may have thought, it will definately gonna have positive impact on our players for the ASIAN Twenty20 begining later this month.

NEPAL LIONS, KATHMANDU TIGERS, SHANGRILA SHARKS and CORPORATE GAINTS….. all seems promising. NEPAL LION and KATHMANDU TIGERS will definately be on the finals, it should be a take away for them. I predict the established stars will shine and rise again on this series, with few upcoming stars.

The first day showed two thondurous centuries from established National Stars, Alam and Veswakar.  Centuries are always rare especially in Nepali cricket and in Twenty20 cricket too. A good sign for the future. Hope they will continue their form at the international level too.

CONGRATULATIONS………

It’s nice to startwith two centuries in it’s very first day. These guys are proved time to time how good they are. and centuries are always very special which is lacking in our cricket. Best of luck for the future…

Firstly, I understood that NEPAL LION comprises our seniors and KATHMANDU TIGERS are our U19 team but it doesn’t look like that. And if u asked to guess the winner then I will pick NEPAL LIONs for that because there is lots of experience and talent and specially there is our national captain BINOD DAS who is real match winner.

now again, I want to ask what is CAN doing to prepare our team for TWENTY20 N world league div 5 and youth world Cup too?

Woow a nice step FORWARD!!

I think having the close camp and the scheduling of the two 20-20 Tournaments just before the Big One in Kuwait is really appreciable!!
I dont know whether the team going to Kuwait has already been selected or not but if it hasnt been then the selection committee can take into consideration of these two tournaments and select some in-form players as well!!

I heard that we had 2 centuries and that two from our two formidable batsmen, so that a real positive sign for the things to come in the upcoming tournament!!
But, if possible, can anyone there in KTM provide us with the daily update about the matches of that day??? I would love to see the scorecard of the matches if possible!!!

Dear Cricket Lovers!
I have received an invitation from Kerala Cricket Association to play a friendly at least 3 match series of most exciting Twenty-20 form of cricket.They have mentioned about Prize,Trophy & their teams expenditure , will be covered by their sponsors. They are just asking us to provide them a better game environment with the better grounds.It is supposed to be played under 25 years old players.They have also mentioned about the time which will be 1st or 2nd week of January 2008.
Actually they were planning to play against our team which is Nepali Cricket Club (NCC)founded by myself in Boulder,CO,USA. Since our team is in USA so I’d like to request with the local Nepali team in Kathmandu to Organize the 3 match 20-20 series to full-fill their request.
I hope you guys understand their interest .

It was good that such a tournament was organized.But in my opinion it was not competitive.The teams were not evenly matched and they were not pushed to their limit and as a result a gap was created in the level they play here and ACC 20-20.There were only two teams Kathmandu Tigers and Nepal Lions which matched and the other teams were well below par.Next time such tournaments should be organized between equally matched teams.
