Highlights of Two-Day National Rules

The Shikhar Senior Two-Day National League is all set to begin on Sunday at Nepalgunj and Birgunj. Here are some points from the playing conditions imporant for the cricket followers.

  • Each day a minimum of 90 overs will be played.
  • First innings of both teams will be of 60 overs maximum.
  • Each 25 runs or a wicket gets the team half-a-point but the second innings batting bonus points will not be more than 4 points.
  • The team winning the game will receive 14 points.
  • If the game is tied, each teams receive 7 points.
  • If the match is washed out without a ball being bowled, both teams will get 10 compensation points.
  • At the end of the league, the team with maximum points wins the title.
  • If the teams are tied on points, then number of wins will be considered. The winner is undecided after that, the team will more first-innings lead; if tied again, then the teams with more bonus points; if tied again then runs per wicket will be considered the factor for win.
