Women’s Squad Announced for Training

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced the 18-member women squad for the closed-camp training to prepare for the ACC Women’s Cup.

The ACC Women’s Cup is beginning on July 11 and the final will be played on July 18. Nepal is in Group A along with Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand. The closed-camp training for the squad begins on June 29.

Eight cricketers from Nepalgunj, four from Bhairahawa and three each from Kathmandu and Baitadi were picked up for the camp. Nepal is scheduled to play its first ever international women cricket event on July in Malaysia.
