So far, having seen performances of most of the teams, I reckon there are at least 6 teams teams- Afghanistan, Nepal,Hkg, UAE, SA,Oman who are good enough to win this ACC U-15 Elite Cup 2007. However, the real acid test starts from tomorrow, which would give the 4 semi-finalists by the end of Friday’s game. The convincing victories of Afghanistan in its 2 games have really sent signals that this team should not be taken lightly in the coming games. Nepal being the defending champion should look forward to scoring more than 200 runs in the upcoming games. Also, in today’s game against Thailand, Nepal should have batted first and piled up big score to maintain strong nett run-rate in the event of 3 teams (Nepal, Hkg, Oman) finishing on same points. Anyway, I expect Nepal to win tomorrow’s game and 50%/50% for game against Hkg. All and all, I foresee very exciting and pulsating games in Semi-finals and Grand Finale.

Best of Luck our home team

Hong Kong have fielded a few weak players as i see it. However, the bowling of aizaz comes in handy for them. I on the other hand have seen player like Niaz, Shamal, Miten and their captain chapman playing in nepal. These players in my opinion should definately get chance to prove themselves and showcase their skills. If they do, Hong Kong is a threat to any team. Nazakat might be the player of the tournament the way he is going…….cheerz
