One Response to “Three Nepali umpires in ACC T20”

This is definitely a good news to all those who are associated with the game of cricket and also a matter of national pride. With this, they have added one more feather to their glittering caps. As a lover of cricket and associated with it, I see success of any individual in the cricketing field as an achievement of Nepali cricket in the broader perspective. Over the years, it is heartening to see the success Nepali Umpires have achieved at an International level. It has proved that, we, Nepalese, are not far behind to anybody if we are determined to do something in any challenging field and represent our country. Such endeavours not only upgrade an individual, but it also helps to put our country’s name on the horizon of international map. An umpire’s job is not an easy one. It requires patience, determination, perseverance, diligence, resiliency, knowledge, presence of mind, quick decision ability and above all intense love for the game. And these 3 musketeers have displayed these qualities every now and then and their achievements at the international are a testament to this fact. They have certainly done us proud and it is a matter of great happiness to see the success they have achieved by leaps and bounds. They are certainly a role model for others to follow in their footsteps in the coming days.
My best of luck and best wishes for their successful assignment in the upcoming ACC Twenty20 Cricket to be held in UAE from November 20 to 30.
