Mate Bardan, I never said they have or do not have money…I just questioned it any of the CAN personnel would ever read it?

Secondly, I have no idea what they get or how much they even spend. As you seem to know they get quite a fair bit…how much is it? Also, what Mukesh has said is sth good in theory…but impractical..where are they going to bring 45 lakh rupees?

I am not going to support CAN or despise it. I know they can do more. But I also have noticed that this committee has done substantially more than under the previous guy. A ground is Pokhara is being built..they have sponsorship deal with Wai Wai et al.

I think more practical solution will be to play in the Ranji trophy games..or have ties with 2/3 Ranji teams that they can invite to play and visit them for a healthy amount of games. But will CAN listen to me? No. So, will I do sth abt it? No.

Its easy for me to sit here and just talk. Btw if u r the real Bardan Chalise..why are you not playing for the team? Where are you hiding these days? Uk? USA? Amongst us here..u had the opportunity to slightly change the cricket system. But did you? No.

I think if we dont thrive for improvement ourselves…why do we Nepalese always play the blame game. It hurts when we lose everytime…also why do we have Roy Dias even now. He is clearly past his sell-by date..We shud thank him and let him go bk to SL…

Also, I think the enthusiams of the fans here have died..more so because Afghanistan is the new ‘Nepal’ now. And rightly so..they play cricket with their passion..they play to win..not to participate. Their economy is worse than ours..their players probably do not get paid much either..but they have secured the ODI status.

So, if I hypocritically also play the blame game..its u, its me, its CAN its the players….its everyone to blame for!!

ur rit man I have been haearing these names for ages now and its quite distressing to find that they still make it to the team even when they do not perform….. obviously they hav done a lot for nepal’s cricket but this fact should not be stopping its progress should it?

@Noire: Then where is all the money that CAN is getting for ICC, ACC and the sponsors. They have not even made an additional ground. They need to make indoor cricket stadium for the players.
Noire, money is definitely flowing in but not going out.

Here is my opinion for Nepal Cricket Board, they should set some budget for player’s salary, let say Rs. 25,000.00/mo for one player and keep 15 players always ready to rock the floor. This could be the only way for Nepal Cricket to keep their best players in the team otherwise they all look to move abroad like kanishka and Bardan etc.
Here is the calculation:
15X25,000X12= Rs. 4,500,000 every year

Please take my word and try it for a year..I am pretty sure this will work just fine…
Nepal will rise again with their new future goal which is to participate in WC2015.

Seriously ppl..why are u complaning to Ujjwal. He doesnt run the place. And do u guys really think CAN people read this? Or are not trying their best? Being a poor country, and lack of proper economy it is harder for us to sustain such developments.

I am hurt when we do not progress..when I know we are fully capable. However there needs to be drastic shakedown. I think Roy Dias should leave once this term finishes, and we can hopefully get some new coach from this generation, preferably Ozzie or Proteas. Roy is of the classical age, bat straight..hit along the grounds. That’s basic. That’s what China needs to do..and are doing. We are now at a stage where we should be able to hit hard so that the bowlers have chance…or when the bowlers create chances, the batters can perform.

But mainly, dont rely on just a set of pool of players. Shakti, Das, Sharad et al have done a lot for us. But the committee and coach should not be hesitant to take them out if they do not perform. Let fresh blood, like the two new lads. come in and give them a chance to show what they can do. I think we are too reliant on old players on their past merit.

ujjal dai i dun want to be rude ,i am sure u dunt want to write anything against CAN though ur seeing nth gud is happening in CAN for cricketer nd cricket fans…may be u r juss worried they wont let u travell wid the team(for free) as a news reporter when nepal is playing abroad……..sorry if i was rude but its true………..not only u but many sport journos frm kantipur nd so on…

yes ujjwal you are absolute right but dawhat is truth of nepali cricket. why doesnt our team get sucess in seniour level. there is any reasion do you have? can you tell me da . what is the main problems of nepali cricket. why did we losing very important match not only that alot of other ?
due to coach or players or CAN. what is true da?
i think , untake process to devlope the nepali cricket by CAN.
