Arjun, i found u not Kushal to be proudy. He was trying to inform about his teams performance can Nepal score 350 against Bhutan I have doubts. Afgansthan has scored runs against very good sides and they are capable of scoring 350 against UAE.

  2. Arjun,
I’m sorry, if i have made you upset.
But, sorry to tell you that you don’t have enough info about Afghanistan cricket team.
A little info i grant you bro!
Afghanistan has won three world cricket league divisions successively and have gotten ODI status, and for your further info, Afghanistan currently holds the title of champions, because they have recently won the ACC TWENTY20 CUP and ICC WORLD TWENTY20 QUALIFIERS.
And as you might have noticed that they are at the top of inter-continental cup points table. They have played only 4 four-day matches and have won three of them (from the Netherlands, Ireland and Canada) and the fourth has been drawn with Zimbabwe XI.
They have qualified to world twenty20 cup in the caribbean after winning the twenty20 qualifying tournament.
And by the way we have beaten UAE many times, you can find out about that.
For more info just search AFGHANISTAN NATIONAL CRICKET TEAM in wikipedia.
    Be realistic dear bro.
I always support Nepal, because it has the strength to play tough opponents.

thanks khusal for your interest in nepal cricket…I really appreciate your effort and feels glad to read your comment. We all nepali welcome you in our nepali cricket website..Hope you will keep following our cricket. I too is a big fan of cricket…and I feel happy that Afghanistan is doing very well in cricket. they deserve what they are getting now.. They are playing best cricket among associates nation. I am very much sure they can do even better if afghan government can provide more infrastructure for their national team…same like our country we both have talent but lack exposure and infrastructure….if we could get exposure and more infrastructure we can do even better…we both team have home born players….

I regularly follow cricket and I have been following afghan progress since long time ago….I hope they will keep moving ahead without looking back…my best wishes for u and ur team..

do not take it serious to other people who said about you ,they are just die hard fan of nepali cricket who really want nepal to win..

      thanks

      keep following our cricket.

Comeon guys, lets hope for the afghan nepal final.. And let the team who perform win that day.. Coz both team has home grown players unlike other adopted country’s counter parts.. Nepal is not week in the bowling department to compete with afghanstan, it is the batting that they are superior on.. Hope our bowlers prove them too much to handle that day.. Nepal has always given tough compitition to afghanstan.. Hope this time a turn around..

ya, its the reality…i agree with u khushal. If the progress rate continues 2 rise up in the way u r progressing at present, then icc will surely think of granting test status within 5 years but the infrastructures in the country should b developed. Moreover security in afghanstan will become head-ace for icc.
N e way, best of luck afghans for next months icc t-20 world cup. India n south africa r waitin u egarly fo group stage matches. Come on go n beat india n sa, gud luck onc again!
Also, nepal is a good side too but we r not being able 2 move forward due to losing crucial matches n this tym i’m pretty confident dat we will keep up the winning streak(we won wcl-5 last month)
ALL THE BEST NEPAL! BRAVE GORKHALIS CHEERS!!!

  4. Bikash, Subodh and Sagar
Thank you all for being realistic and supporting me and my country.
I just want to say something about Nepal cricket team, it will be good to read it.

Nepali people play cricket with passion and pride which makes me very happy and therefore, i always support them. Cricket is properly installed in Nepal and is being played by locals, school students and Nepal has a satisfying domestic cricket and infrastructure.
As an Asian I have been following the Nepali team for a long time and i have noticed them losing crucial matches many times, which had made me very sad.
I’m not upset and haven’t taken the comments serious that other posters wrote about me and my country, whereas i appreciate their opinions, due to their national pride and support they pay their team.

When Nepal qualified to final of the WCL division 5 and consequently they won it from USA, some websites wrote about RIOT and blamed the Nepali team harshly. In some forums people suggested that Nepal has to be relegated and fined because it was Singapore’s right to progress, but me and other Nepali fans support Nepal team strongly and claimed that it was a small misbehaviour by the Nepali crazy fans and ICC should not punish the innocent team.

Good luck Nepal and wish you progress to division one and get ODI status.

    best wishes,

Thankx kushal.. I am a supporter of south african team and a hater of indian team becasue of what india has done to us (border issues n interfaring our politics). But this time i am going to support afghanstan with my heart because of the respect i found towards our team by you guys..
Greme smith told they were robbed of the then u-19 world cup when Nepal progressed taking advantage of rain drawn match.. But we beat them twice in three meetings in the u-19 level..
    But you guys are humble..
N surely i am a big fan of Mohommed Nabi.. Hope we both team will be playing at the top level soon.. Games are played together to increase the brotherhood.. Hope one day an Afghan batsmen his a four or six in Nepali ground and we clap for them and our bowler takes an Afghan wicket at your home and you guys clap for our players..

  7. Uzwal says:

hey khusal nice to see u here and thnx for supporting our team. i am happy for ur team and their quick progress. i ve few questions regarding afghanistan cricket hope u can clear it out.

what about junior cricket in ur country???what will happen to afghanistan cricket team after 5 years when most of the players from current squad retire??correct me if i am wrong, as far as i know all the players from current team are raised and played in pakistan so do u really feel everything is going well for the nations cricket. i am fully aware of the facts that why these players have not been able to play in afghanistan itself .but do u really think if they would not have been played in pakistan they could progress it so quickly?? dont take it in a negative way,but eventhough i am happy but whenever u guys win these thoughts always come across my mind and i really cant feel in a way it should be…..something missing, something wrong. anywAY ALL the best but mate this time it is ours…bring it on.. hehe

    • achilles says:

it should be nepal and afgansthan in the final because both the teams are most deserving and most promising as they have their inborn players unlike other teams who has players from other nationalities. we hope the match between nepal and afgan in the final and whoever wins deserves the most. all the best to nepal and afgan teams…and moreover i wanna wish afgan all the best for the upcoming t20 world cup…i am sure if they continue their form in the wc, then they will surely be able to beat banga or india or even aus. all hail afgan teams…

  9. Uzwal,
I want to make you sure that we have a good domestic cricket, schools’ cricket and even cricket is played on the streets, at homes and in rural areas, the same i feel about Nepali cricket.
When United Soviet Socialist Republics (Russia) invaded our homeland in 1979, so millions of people (more than 6 millions) immigrated to Pakistan mostly to the NWFP and Baluchistan provinces and they settled down there, they learn cricket and played it there. I don’t take it negative dear, because i know that Pakistan has bestowed cricket to us, the same cricket was bestowed to sub-continent and to other parts of the world by Great Britain and i can argue that cricket can’t be played automatically by people who don’t know it, but it must be taught to them first then let them play it eagerly.

Cricket was given birth by the returning back of these migrated people in 2000. Now cricket is not restricted to these people only, but it’s played by more than about 7 or 8 millions people.
We have a newly established Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) and it’s working hard to develop the game to other parts of the country (North of Afg).
We have 22 provinces out of 34 that cricket is appropriately installed there and is played by residents, and each of the named provinces has a strong provincial team, which all of them equal to 22 and makes our domestic cricket. We have domestic tournaments of 50 overs and twenty20 cricket and are trying to establish first-class cricket soon.
We have national teams of different ages (U15, U16, U17, U19, Afg A and national team).
The only major problem we are confronting is lack of infrastructure, we don’t have any stadiums of international standard, but we have the support of government and we plan to build atleast three international stadiums within 5 years. One of them is under construction and will be eligible for playing cricket within one year.
I hope, i would have given enough Info to Nepali friends.

    All the best,

    • uzwal says:

thnx khusal for ur info…..if that so u guys have a great future ahead so is ours..lets hope both the nation progress rapidly and get somekind of status permanently ..odi will do and play regular cricket at highest level….though nepal has one problem, maturity in team.the team that we have now all came from group level.they have no seniors to look at and learn .they dont have experience playing very good players and always loose the crucial matches…..need to have more confidence and self belief.hope our next generation will have something great to offer as they have now seniors to look at and learn their qualities and avoid their weakness

khusal u ve been a gentleman .cricket needs fan like u as we know it is a gentlemens game oh yes for the gentlewomen as well..hehe..u take care brother and keep watchin cricket.
