Sanjeev bro, i truely agree wid u, bt what i have known being a cricketer myself is…when we ask our neighbouring countries to send their state team or club team or like that….they really dnt send their quality players n instead they send the players my taking money from them…now u imagine that bro…when i played against india (chandigarh) a lad from that team told me in a i’l conversation..that he came to pay in nepal paying 7000 rs….now u believe it??n trust me man, every time they come, we’ve sent them getting them white-washed most of the time…now u tel me, we being Nepal A players, can beat them easily, then wud it b any sort of practise match for our seniors???nt at all!!!infact, it wud ruin all their temperaments!!

yeah, the pitch is astro- turf. i heard this kind of pitch is good for pace bowler. That’s why Can selected 5 pace bowler among 14 players.

Napel will do very very well in italy. Spinners are a must in August Bologna heat. Every team must have a decent chance. Dont get down to much on the conditions, as i said the Italians havent played on them either.

Grounds..i found this to look at……….., shows all the grounds that are providing much interest.

Glad 2 hear mor abt italy criket.
Malaysia is old criketing nationg. B4 div2 in 2005,they hv organised first ACC TROPHY IN 1996! Also they hv included criket in comonwealth games in 1998!
Div 4 sud hv hosted in Argentina instead of ITALY!
4m which country how many test u played? R u lokal club coach?
Italy had won few matches in european divs 1 bt against A Team of scotland n holand. I read d names it sounds amazing they al r srilankans!
So in div 4 Nepal wil face chalenge 4m WEST INDIES REJECT 11(USA) n SRILANKA SOUTH AFRIKA Lokal CLUB (ITALY)!
Nepal had alwys gud spiner bt can batsman overply them 4 6?
How italy criket asociation going 2 organise event? R there original italians in asociation? So there wil b no crowds xcept xtra players n coach n match refre!
We want 2 win not 1ly div 4 bt div 3 in hongkong!
Cayman island hv players 4m west indies. Tanzania is also gud team!

Would love to see Napal & Italy progress. Im sure they will. Firstly i am a supporter of italian cricket, but unfortunately in 25 yrs they havent produced one ground! For this tournament they have created another 2 grounds on soccer pitches, so the 3 grounds that will be in use have close proximity!

Noire, i have no bitterness. Am just giving you the inside details on the grounds.

I just found it odd that questions where being asked about Italian cricket conditions!

Yes ive seen cricket played in Italy, on soccer grounds, baseball pitches & dirt parks. alas i havent played here myself. But 6 nations will by no fault of their own. White balls, rubber shoes, soccer grounds! I hope they have imported sight screens for this comp! Dont think they could, expect spray painted black sheets!

I am infact a former Test cricketer working in Italy & was confused by the ICC’s decision to fly teams into Italy ….Am i not misaken WCL Div 2 was played in a non cricket country in Malaysia on ICC international approved grounds! Why 5yrs later ask Italy to host a fiasco!

Are you sure PITCH is Astro Turf ? I thought only outfield is Astro Turf. Please, clarify?

I don’t think pitch is Turf. It should be regular pitch.
