U-17 National from Nov 6

The Under-19 National Cricket League will be held from November 6 to 15 in Kathmandu, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) said in a release.

The event, to be participated by all six cricket development regions of the country, will be played on round-robin league format with top two teams vieing for the championship in the final slated for November 15. Kathmandu Wins National League

Region No 3 Kathmandu lifted the Springwood National League Cricket Tournament title after emerging the winner of an epic battle with defending champions Region No 4 Bhairahawa at the TU Cricket Ground on Sunday.

The final was decided on the last ball with Bhairahawa felling by just a run. Requiring 169 in 36 overs for victory on a revised target, Bhairahawa ended at 167/9. Kathmandu had earlier scored 199 in 49.3 overs. Read More …
