Cricket Association of Nepal named an 18-member squad for the upcoming ACC Fast Track Countries Tournament three-day match agaisnt Malaysia at Kathmandu today.
The only considerable name missed out is of Dipendra Chaudhary who has been out of form during his last few international matches.
The match against Malaysia is scheduled for 14-16 Oct this year. The closed-camp will begin on Sept 24. This will be the last match for both Nepal and Malaysia in the five-nation tournament.
Malaysia is currently at the top of the table with 70.5 points while Nepal is at third with 57.5 behind UAE who have 70 points with a game in hand. The top three teams qualify for the next year’s ICC InterContinental Cup.
