Malaysia fall cheap, Nepal not good either

Nepal’s defense of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-15 Cup title suffered a setback as the not so experienced Nepali boys failed to capitalize on Malaysia’s batting collapse on inaugural match in Kuala Lumpur. After being put in to bat, the Malaysia was all out for 134 runs in 52.3 runs. But Malaysia’s batting failure was compensated by a good run from its bowlers. Nepal imitated Malaysia’s batting and at stumps had lost seven wickets scoring only 41 in 43 overs. Kathmandu’s Ayush Sharma is playing on 7. The top two scorers for Nepal are Surendra Chand 11, and Birgunj’s Bibek Dali 10. Kathmandu’s Krishna Karki claimed four Malaysian scalps while Rochak Bhatta and Baitadi’s Pradeep Singh Iyer took three each. In the two-day Sajarul scored 62 and Mohammad Hajik 26.
